Based in our offices located in The Valley, Virgin Gorda but with staff travelling regularly between there and Tortola, Mohawk Business Services can accommodate business demands on both islands. Joanna Morris
Managing Director
Joanna was born and raised here in the BVI, and after returning to the BVI after University worked in several sectors, including hospitality, law and real estate before relocating to Virgin Gorda in 2009 to reside and work as People & Welfare Manager for Moskito and Necker Island, a role she held until her resignation in December 2018. In 2019, Joanna founded Mohawk Business Services Limited and has never looked back!
Christine Hawkins
Director
Christine was born and raised in the BVI and completed her education in Canada. After graduating with a B. Comm. in Hotel and Tourism Management from the University of Guelph, she spent the next 10 years working at hotels and resorts in Ontario. Tired of Canadian winters, Christine returned to the BVI in 2013, working in HR and hotel management positions for various companies in Virgin Gorda. She is known for her attention to detail and quick wit.
Jane Hunter
Executive Assistant
Originally from Canada, Jane now lives on beautiful Virgin Gorda. Over the past five years Jane has worked as an Executive Assistant on Moskito Island – right next to the famous Necker Island. Jane comes to us with over 15 years experience in Administrative Support ranging from International Banking to Luxury Real-estate Development. When not running after her two small children, Jane likes to hike the island and listen to punk rock at a deafening volume. Contrary to popular belief she does not like long walks on the beach as it is too hard to walk that far and keep your glass of rosé chilled!
Tasia Veenkamp
Client Services Agent
Tasia moved to the BVI in 2013 and worked in the hospitality industry before joining the Mohawk Team in 2022, where her honed customer service skills still shine through with her connectivity with clients and personal, hands-on approach. She is a busy mom to 3 wonderful kids and leaves the rest of the team in awe as she manages to balance a busy work schedule with home life. Tasia is always willing to go above and beyond for our clients, is able to think quickly on her feet and problem solve like no other!

Christmas in Spanish Town
Every December in the heart of The Valley, VG on Lee Road, Christmas in Spanish Town brings the community together with an array of vendors, food and entertainment. The event really kicks off the Christmas season in VG, and what better way for Mohawk to support the community than by donating to the cause to ensure that the event has adequate tents, lighting etc. with a monetary donation.  We are the smallest company to support, and this year our name was up there in the list of sponsors with Little Dix Bay, Oil Nut Bay, B&B Yacht Services, Government of the Virgin Islands, and Caribbean Insurers to name a few.
Rose’s Annual Children’s Santa Motorcade
Rose Giacinto, owner of Bath & Turtle restaurant has for years put together a motorcade followed by a Christmas party for the kids of Virgin Gorda. The motorcade has Santa Claus driving all around the island, distributing gifts to make sure that every child gets a present. Mohawk loves to support the youth of the Virgin Islands through sponsorship as we recognise that they are the future of the islands and so spreading a bit of Christmas spirit by donating to this wonderful programme.Â
